Frugal & Fabulous: Wet n Wild Comfort Zone

Welcome to my first installment of Frugal & Fabulous!

These posts will essentially be mini-reviews of things that I love that will only set you back 5$ or less!

Onward.

The first product I'd like to cover with you is Wet n Wild's Comfort Zone Palette. This drugstore gem is 4.99$ at most retailers (and is cheaper at places like Walmart). And let's be serious, eight eyeshadows for five bucks is a steal to say the least. You get 8.5g/.3oz. of product.

I'll cover the shades left to right, top to bottom.

The first color is a light peachy champagne with subtle shimmer. This is marked as "Browbone" and I do use it in that area, but it does make for a nice wash over the entire lid.

Next is a silvery taupe shade that has a shimmer sheen to it, this is also marked as "Browbone". Now, unless you're very dark complected, I would not reccommend this for your browbone. This is one of my favorite shades in the palette.

The next shade is a light/medium goldy peachy shade. This is also shimmery, and is marked "Eyelid".

Next is a light mossy green with subtle silver shimmer. Marked also as "Eyelid", this would be a gorgeous wash of color all over the lid.

The first "Crease" shade is a light creamy brown that reminds me of coffee with milk in it. This is shimmery, and velvety.

The second "Crease" shade is a dark golden olive-y green with a lot of sparkle. LOVE this shade. This does best over a primer and a sticky base.

Next up is a "Definer" shade and it's a reddened chocolate brown with a lot of sparkle, similar to the last shade. I also LOVE this color. Go figure. ;) This also does best over a primer and sticky base.

Lastly we have the second "Definer" shade and this is a brown with a blue-green duochrome. This is a dupe for MAC's Club eyeshadow. It's a very interesting shade to work with, and can seem daunting, but it's totally gorgeous and would be bangin' on blue eyes.

Alright! That concludes my first installment! I'd like as much feedback as possible about the formatting and content! Thanks for reading all, and have a great day!

Top 10 Affordable Drugstore Products

Everyone loves to find a cheap cosmetic gem at the drugstore! Here are my top 10.

#10 Hard Candy Fox in a Box Blush 5.7g/0.20 oz. for $6.00 @ Walmart.

Box blushes are pretty popular, but can be extremely pricey (some retail for $28!). Hard Candy's boxed blushes are great, very pigmented, and include a small brush (great for travel, but not necessarily every day).

#9 Jesse's Girl Loose Eyeshadows 2.5g for 4.99 @ Rite Aid

I love these. I have for years and years. I'm a huge fan of loose eyeshadows. I find them to be very dynamic. Jesse's Girl carries an interesting range of shades, and has something for everyone. These do, the majority of the time, need to be applied to a sticky base for best results. I love Sunlit Cactus and Penny Arcade.

#8 Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer .23 fl oz./7ml for aprx $5.00 @ Walmart or Rite Aid

This is a decent affordable concealer. I don't have a ton of concealing to do, but it's the most shade appropriate concealer I can find in the drugstore to date. And since it is affordable, I don't mind!

#7 Sinful Colors Nail Enamel .5 fl. oz./15 ml for $1.99 @ Rite Aid

Sinful Colors has an amazing line of nail polishes for the money! I absolutely love these. Two bucks? Seriously, how can you go wrong?? They have a great shade range and the also offer striping polishes for the same price. They do limited edition collections every season, so it keeps things interesting! One of my favorite shades is Seaweed.

#6 Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow 4g/.14oz for $6.00 @ Walmart (prices WILL vary)

I am... how would you say...? ADDICTED to these things. I own almost all of the shades. These do not crease, budge, smear or fade. I LOVE these. I have used these on my lips and eyes. Cream shadows are very versatile, especially for the money. There are a couple duds in the collection, the purple shade comes to mind immediately. However, my favorites are Bad to the Bronze and Bold Gold. Gorgeous.

#5 L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow 3.5g/.12oz for aprx $7.00 @ Walmart (Prices WILL vary)

These are soooo soft, smooth and blendable. These are akin to the Georgio Armani Eyes To Kill shadows that retail for $32 a piece! The shade range is lovely, and the texture of the product is spongy like a pressed pigment. Caution is advised, be gentle with these and they will be good to you!

#4 Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette 8.5g/.3oz for 4.99 @ Rite Aid and Walmart

Just go buy this. This palette is amazing. The color pay off is out of this world for a drugstore product. And lately Wet n Wild has been very shocking in the quality of their products! I own a lot of this brand, and am very impressed with what they have been releasing.

#3 L'Oreal Lacquer Liner 2.3g/.081oz for aprx $10.00 @ Rite Aid and Walmart

I adore gel liner. When this was released I knew I had to have it. It's ridiculously smooth, and black. It includes a cute brush with the packaging, which is actually usable. I use this on my waterline with an old pencil that I don't care for and I get all day staying power.

#2 Revlon Lip Butters product weight unavailable for aprx $7.50 @ Rite Aid and Walmart

These are some of the best lip products you can find in the drugstore. They're soft, smooth, moisturizing and come in something like 20 shades. So there is definitely something for everyone! These do need to be reapplied frequently (depending on how sheer/pigmented the shade is) but are totally worth it in my book.

#1 L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara .26fl oz for aprx $6.00 @ Walmart

This is my all time favorite mascara. I use nothing else, because when I do, I'm disappointed. This mascara is BLACK and it makes my lashes bangin'. Almost every day I get asked if my lashes are fake. No ma'am it's L'Oreal Carbon Black ;)

I hope you enjoyed my first top 10 installment. And if you have any requests, just let me know! Thanks for reading guys :)

Rainbow Leopard Manicure

Loved wearing this manicure, so I wanted to share what I used.

China Glaze all around:
White on White
Towel Boy Toy
Pink Voltage
Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

The blue and pink mix and make purple, and the pink and yellow mix to make orange. So only three colors are used for this sponging gradient.

Leopard print is Konad stamping.

And that's all! I had fun wearing it, so summery and bright!

Cherry Blossom Cat Eye

Another look for you all. I had fun with this. Usually when I conceptualize (when I'm in bed at night thinking of what to do for the next day) it doesn't come out the way I desire. And that's mostly because I lack the necessary products to make the look flawless. However, with this, I was pleased :)

Yes, I took these photos at work. The lighting is better there than at my apartment haha

I Used:
Lancome Molten Shore Quad – Flower
Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette
Revlon Lip Butter – Strawberry Shortcake
Nars blush – New Order

I adore these types of looks, something simple but bold. Usually when I wear stuff like this people ask me if I'm sick. Isn't that weird? Maybe people are just used to seeing me in full on looks.

That's all I've got for you today folks. Have a good one!!

Drop by this link here and show my look some love! Thanks a bunch :)

Chocolate Smoke

I just haven't been feeling motivated. At all. Blogging is almost depressing for me at the moment because it is almost like talking to a wall. But I really wanted to do a look I liked, and post it on here. So here we go!

Haha, anyway... Here's what I used.

NYX Jumbo Pencil - Dark Brown
Lancome Molten Shore Palette (Flower & Lava)
L'Oreal Project Runway Watchful Owl's Gaze (bottom left shade)
MAC - Carbon
L'Oreal Crabon Black Mascara & Liquid Lineur Intense
Real Colors Lip Fury Plumping Gloss - Nymph
Femme Couture Bronzer Summer Kiss

My Camera will slightly change tone depending on how close you are. I know I need a new camera, but that's just too rich for my blood.

And that's it. You can find me here since I have rejected mainstream social-networking sites for about 5 months now due to personal reasons. Vote up my looks if you love them!!

Thanks for reading. <3
